This Shipping Policy applies to all products purchased through https://meskat.com/.

1. Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (Saturday-Friday).

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

As per Digital Commerce Operational Guidelines (Bangladesh): We will hand over the product to the delivery service within 48 hours of receiving the order/full payment. You will be notified via SMS/email upon handover.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

We strive to ensure fast and reliable delivery for all our customers. Please review the details below regarding our shipping process, delivery timeframes, and applicable charges.

Inside Dhaka City (Metro):

Estimated delivery time: 2–3 business days (maximum 5 days as per MOC guidelines)

Shipping cost: BDT 70-80/kg

Delivery options: Home Delivery or Courier Office Pickup

Outside Dhaka (Other Cities & Districts)

Estimated delivery time: 3–7 business days (maximum 7 days as per MOC guidelines)

Shipping cost: BDT 120-130/kg

Delivery options: Courier Office Pickup or Home Delivery (if available)

Additional Weight: An extra charge of BDT 120 tk will be applied for each additional kilogram above 1 kg.

Delivery Delay: Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., political strikes, natural disasters, courier service interruptions). We are not responsible for delays outside of our direct control, but we will always assist in tracking your parcel.

3. Shipping Options

We primarily use the following reliable courier services for delivery:

Inside Dhaka: Courier Name 1, e.g., Steadfast, RedX, Pathao Courier

Outside Dhaka: Courier Name 2, e.g., Steadfast, Sundarban Courier, SA Paribahan, Pathao Courier

Order Cutoff time: 8:00 PM. Time zone in Dhaka (GMT+6)

Order Handling Time: 0-1 day, Sat to Fri Time zone in Dhaka (GMT+6)

Order Transit Time: 0-3 days, Sat to Fri Time zone in Dhaka (GMT+6)

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) and Advance Payment

Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for Inside Dhaka and Outside Dhaka deliveries. You pay the full order value and the shipping fee at the time of delivery.

Advance Payment: For certain products (e.g., high-value items, custom orders) or for new customers outside Dhaka, a partial or full advance payment may be required. This requirement will be clearly communicated before order confirmation.

COD Charge: A Cash-on-Delivery charge of [Specify: e.g., 0.5% - 1% of the product value] may be added by the courier service. This will be included in the total cost shown at checkout.

5. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email/SMS once your order has shipped, which will contain your tracking number(s).

The tracking number will be active within 2 hours. You can track your order on the courier partner's website: https://steadfast.com.bd/tracking

6. Damages, Loss, and Inspection

Inspection: Customers are advised to inspect the package for any visible damage or tampering before accepting the parcel from the delivery agent, especially for COD orders.

Damages: If you receive a damaged product, please take photographs of the package and the product immediately and contact our customer service team at  info@meskat.com or 01996-111027 within 48 hours of delivery.

Lost Orders: If your order tracking shows delivered but you have not received it, or if your package is significantly delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, please contact us promptly for investigation with the courier service.
